凱莉．達克(Caylee Dak)

撒塔斯城奧多爾高地有個乍看是玩家的NPC，凱莉．達克，與她的寵物達斯基(Dusky)，是暴風雪仿一位已過世的玩家而設立的。他名叫Dak Krause，在美國 Boulderfist 伺服器的 Boulderfist Heroes 公會，他熱心助人，人緣極佳，2007年8月22日死於白血病，公會在暴風城為他舉行追悼儀式，暴風雪知道後將這名夜精靈獵人和她忠心的黑豹放在奧多爾高地，身上穿的就是凱莉最後的裝備(Armory)，暴風城還有一名叫艾利西亞的等級70小女孩，給予任務「艾利西亞之詩」，要玩家把她寫的詩送去給她的好友凱莉：

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, im dont sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow,
across Northrend's bright and shining snow.

I am the gentle showers of rain,
on Westfall's fields of golden rain.

I am in the morning hush,
of Stranglethorn's jungle, green and lush.

奈卡卓恩(Negatron)

這台於虛空風暴出現的Lv69菁英機械，中譯奈卡卓恩，原文為Negatron，惡搞變形金剛(Transformer)的密卡登，Megatron。

這些特性有沒有非常熟悉？這和台譯「小精靈」的電影 Gremlins 有很高的相似度，雖然沒有明講但「躲在橋下」可說是躲水和光線，小精靈的若觸犯三條規則就會突變為怪物，規則是 No water , no food after midnight , and no bright light. 也就是不碰水，午夜後不餵食，不照光。
